Chinese International School Manila

Mastering Mandarin to get Ahead

Chinese International School Manila, the country’s first international school where East meets West, commenced its inaugural school year last August 15 at its new campus in McKinley Hill. The school is one of the highly anticipated institutions to make its home in this fast rising first-class township in Fort Bonifacio.

CISM offers a unique international school K-12 curriculum coupled with an immersion in the Mandarin Chinese and English language. Academic rigor is the cornerstone of the CISM program. The focus is on building a strong foundation in math, science, reading, writing and communication skills whilst encouraging personal development and exploration of interests outside the classroom. The medium of instruction is English but students are required to attend daily Mandarin language classes where both traditional and simplified Chinese are taught.

CISM together with the Korean International School and Enderun Colleges fulfill the "Learn" component in McKinley Hill's "Live-Work-Play-Learn" credo for its residents and workers. The first-class McKinley Hill Village is now complete. Condominiums, including the posh McKinley Hill Tuscany Private Estate are now being built. The first office building in the area, One World Square, has opened and more are in the pipeline. The Venetian mall is now under construction as well. All of these combine to make McKinley Hill a township of international standards.
